I started The Retirement Co. in 2009 with one simple goal: to help people in Delafield retire with confidence and peace of mind.
Over the years, that goal has never changed. What has grown is the number of clients who want straightforward guidance and a real connection with someone they can trust. That’s why I’ve kept this firm personal and focused on the people right here in our community.
Delafield is home for my family and me. My wife Kelli and I are raising our four daughters here, and I’m proud to serve the people who make this area what it is—hardworking, genuine, and down-to-earth.

The Retirement Co.
The Retirement Co. began in 2009 with a simple goal—to help people plan for retirement in a way that feels personal, local, and honest. Founder Jesse Grutz saw that many retirees were being handed complicated plans or impersonal advice that didn’t fit their real lives. He decided to build something different, a firm where every client is known by name and every plan is designed to bring clarity, not confusion.
Today, The Retirement Co. serves clients across Delafield, Pewaukee, Hartland, Oconomowoc, and throughout Waukesha County. Jesse’s approach remains personal and straightforward: listen first, plan carefully, and keep things simple enough for clients to make confident decisions.
About Jesse Grutz and his family
Jesse has spent more than a decade helping people transition from saving for retirement to living it. He focuses on creating income plans that last, managing risk, and reducing unnecessary taxes.
At home, Jesse and his wife Kelli are busy raising their four daughters in Delafield. They love the small-town charm of the area and believe relationships are at the heart of every good business, and every good plan.
